Most families do not have the resources to purchase the ingredients.  Purchasing a tamale basket for your sponsored student or elder or for a general donation is $107.  Please consider giving a family the opportunity to embrace their traditions in celebration of la Nochebuena (Christmas Eve).  The basket contains the chicken, masa, etc to make the tamales along with fresh vegetables, and ingredients for the traditional fruit punch or hot chocolate. 

Giving from the heart is the biggest gift you can give yourself.  We need 50 baskets to ensure all our families and elders can not only celebrate this special night but also have a great nutritious meal that is rarely found on their table.
